Chase Nugent aka NewGent is an old-school, storytelling Rapper/DJ from Southern California. NewGent’s focus is to spread a conscious message through lyricism and bridge the gap between hip hop and bass music. Despite his roots in 90’s hip hop, NewGent has always had an obsession with experimental bass music ranging from psychedelic glitch hop to dubstep, halftime, and drum and bass.
